Most should take care on spewing threats about lawsuits! No one likes being
threatened. Lawyers cost money, and lots of it. I'm sure NewTek spoke with
their legal people about their advertising BEFORE they did it. Class action
suits are very difficult to get started. You better have 50 or 60 people
willing to file. Then you 50 or 60 better be prepared to throw some serious
money at it!
We all are somewhat angry and rightfully so but there are less expensive ways
to solve this. Have any of you taken the time to write Dwight or Tim
directly? You all seem to have plenty of time to do so. My guess is that
NewTek would be more responsive to this approach. Besides, it's not a very
good business decision to spend as much or more on your lawsuit as you have
in all of your gear! Bad investment!
I bought a Flyer early on. Yes, it stunk!! So, I sold it! And, end of
problem! You can do the same. Write NewTek a letter and ask them for a
refund, see what happens. Do you really want to get rid of your Flyer? I got
ALL of the money I had in mine back, you can too. Gripes and complaints are
warrented, I think NewTek misrepresented their product as well, but It's
easier to get what you want with sugar, NOT A HAMMER!!!
So, I suggest we concentrate on getting our problems with NewTek solved. No
more of these idle lawsuit threats unless you plan on REALLY doing it.
Anybody else with me?
